Leonard Bighetty was born in The Pas, MB (Mathias Colomb Cree First Nations). His work style can be described as abstract, combined with surrealistic and realistic imagery. His sun and stars symbolize life the Grandfathers\Spirit are consciousness. He is able to comprehend and channel information into images appreciated by people who have a sense of respect and are building relationships with nature.
